Robina MCCARTHY Obituary

McCARTHY, Robina May (Robin) (nee Climo). Born 17th March 1930, late of Te Hoe, Thames and Thames Coast. Robin passed away peacefully on 11th February 2026 at the Ohinemuri Care Home in Paeroa, surrounded by her Loving children. Dearly loved wife and pal of the late Trevor, and precious Mother and Mother-in-law of Michael and Vicki (Bethlehem), Suzanne and Ross Arthur (Paeroa), Valerie and Charles Meihana (Rotorua), Lynette and John Gordon (Kaingaroa North). Most loved and loving Gran of 7 and great-Gran of 6. Thank you so much for all of our treasured memories. Thank you to Ohinemuri Care Home staff over the past four years. Robin's funeral will be held in The Grahamstown Chapel, 102 Kirkwood Street, Thames on Wednesday 18th February at 11am, followed by private burial at Totara Memorial Park Cemetery RSA Section, Thames.

Yesterday

McCARTHY, Robin (nee Climo). Late of Te Hoe and Thames. Passed away peacefully on 11th February, 2026. Dearly loved and loving daughter of the late Jane and Will Climo of Te Hoe Waikato and Waiomu Thames Coast. Loved and loving sister of the late Cora Kay (Matakohe), Joan McQuilkin (Greymouth), Iris Tuffs (Te Hoe and Te Puru), Bob Climo (Te Hoe and Hamilton), Len Climo (Tirau), Wally Climo (Putaruru and Tauranga). They are now all together and are dancing, singing, whistling, laughing and playing music in front of Nan's blazing coal range. Wonderful memories to treasure. McCARTHY, Robin. Much Loved and adored Mum, Robin and Gran of Michael and Vicki, Nichola and Mike, Bradley and Megan. Great Gran of Isabella, Cooper, Maximus and Marley. A Gran that always gave her time and love in abundance. Your beautiful smile, your wonderful jokes and humour, along with your seriously warm hugs and amazing YoYo biscuits will be greatly missed by us all. Always will be remembered with Love.

McCARTHY, Robina May. Treasured Mum and Mum-in- law of Sue and Ross Arthur, loved Gran of our darling little fur baby Lola. Keep on laughing, smiling, singing and winking Mum. We will truly truly miss you and we Thank You for being such a wonderful Lady. Love, love, love, love, love you.
