My friend Robin will be so missed. We had so many laughs, I loved having you in my life. Vic will miss the cricket and rugby banter, I was looking forward to seeing you become that writer and artist that you wanted to be.
I will miss you. With love from Gale

I was very shocked to read just in the last few days, of Robyn's untimely passing, although I didn't really know Robyn on a more personal basis, he was a neighbour to me while living on the walkway several years ago, I always enjoyed his beautiful love for music which would echo outside into the garden, an seemed somehow so perfect for the lovely stting in which we lived, in the whitebait season I would drop off a feed for him which he enjoyed, we always yelled out a "Hi" in passing, an always chatted when we saw each other out an about, Robyn was a long standing member of the Omokoroa community, an will be profoundly missed, it seems strange not seeing him out an about in his BMW, my heartfelt sympathies to all his family at this sad time.

Robin had been to visit us with granddaughters 4 days before. He was in good health & spirit. Robin was one of those inspirational and great leaders, I had the privilege to work with. I joined him & the team at Tauranga Hospital 30 years ago. That experience with Robin & the team has been a highlight of my working life. I learnt so much about positive management & workplace culture. Robin was & continues to be enormously respected. My thoughts and deepest sympathy to Robin´s family on his untimely death.

I am very sorry to hear about Robin's death. I had the good fortune to work with Robin while he was CEO at Western Bay Health. He built a fabulous team and united us around "Quality Care by Quality People" Robin was compassionate and business like. He got people on side and enabled people to be at their best. He was very proud of Georgina and Lucy and the devastation he felt at Lucy's untimely death was forever present. Many of my colleagues felt like me - Robin gave me us an opportunity, and he gave the Bay of Plenty a superb hospital service. Georgie I send you my deepest sympathy. I had a cuppa with him recently and he spoke so warmly of you and your children. I do hope that in time your fond memories will sustain you all. Alyson Howell
