MCGOWAN, Robin John. Passed away peacefully on 29 April 2022 in Australia. Only child of the late Phyllis and John McGowan. Much loved husband of Donna, father of Francine and Alexandra, grandfather of Samuel and Joshua. All messages to 609 Richmond Street, Thames 3500.

Robin (Shouse) McG was a good friend in the early sixties while studying for architecture and social tramping. He had a bad fall on the Broken Axe pinnaccles in the Tararuas and was the subject of a large rescue and this set him back a long way. I was with him at the time which was not a good scene.
He was a good bloke, could be serious or whacky and I am sad at your loss
