Chappy lived each day to his fullest capacity never losing sight of his greatest loves in life, his family, his work family of Page Earthworks (Tauranga) & his beloved rugby.

He passed peacefully in his happiest place at home after a long journey of progressive heart failure, his environment was calm, peaceful and free of anxiousness, all that we could ever have hoped for my love.

A dedicated, loyal, loving and fierce Husband to Ruby. Treasured Dad to Sandra and Tups, Kalem & Samantha and bonus Dad to Jonelle & Aston, Rawiri & Kate and Tipare.
Adored Koro Popi to Olivia Paige, Mamaeroa RubyAnn, Bahlee, Jynaer, Jessica, Sydney, Madison, Chayse & Charlotte.
Your life values are treasured and have instilled a strong foundation for all who have been blessed by his presence in their lives. You have left us all with a legacy of love and memories that will sustain our lifetime in honouring all that you stood for. Your life was honoured thruout your tangihanga by hundreds and many more unable too attend who continue to send many messages of love and condolences. All of which are indicative of the man you are and the value you mean to so many people of all age, creed & nationality.
