Roberta Duthie Obituary

DUTHIE, Roberta Fotheringhame (Bobbie). Passed away peacefully at home on 17 November 2011 aged 91. Dearest wife of Bob for over 70 years of wonderful love and companionship. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Alex and June, John and Dorinda. Treasured grandma of Mark and Angie, Megan, Jo and Craig, Sara and Shannon and Pete. Great-grandma of Amber, Sophia, Nathaniel and Taylor. So very dearly loved, so sadly missed. A service will be held at the St Andrews Presbyterian Church, 172 Hinemoa Street Birkenhead on Monday 21 November at 10.30am. In lieu of flowers donations to Glaucoma NZ, Department of Opthalmology, The University of Auckland, Private Bag 92019 Auckland 1142 would be appreciated. There will also be donation boxes available at the service.

Auntie Bob you will never be forgotten and will always be remembered for your loving kindness.You were such a big part of our family when I was growing up and I remember many happy times staying with you in your home.

DUTHIE, Bobbie. Died peacefully at home on 17 November 2011. Much loved sister-in law of Sally and Murray (deceased). Aunt of Peter, Raewyn, Pam and Bernie. Great Aunt of Sarah, Kate, Alexander and Akasi. A wonderful, kind and positive person who set a great example to all of us through good times and even when she was unwell. She will always be fondly remembered, especially for her birthday phone calls. Rest in peace dear Bobbie.
