Robert WINTHROP Obituary
WINTHROP, Robert John (John). Passed away at 85 years of age on 16 July 2021. Beloved husband of Eveline, loving father of Rob and Suzanne, Graeme and Eunice, Brian and Svetlana, and loving Grandad of Lauren, Lewis, Deanna, Madeline, Archie, Josh, Nadia and Theo. John was a kind and loving man, who always believed in making sure everyone was included. He will be dearly missed, A service will be held at Purewa All Saints Chapel, 100 St Johns Road, Meadowbank on Saturday 24 July at 2pm.

Meeting John and Eveline first in Vanuatu, they were the most inclusive boaties ever, and so many riotous musical cocktail hours ensued over so many years. We are all recipients of John's steady hand, wisdom and dry wit, and will miss him greatly. Here was indeed a life well lived and loved. Our heartfelt condolences to Eveline and family.
