Robert WHITE Obituary
WHITE, Robert (Bob) Passed away on 09-10-2013. The current President of Auckland Car Club, a long serving Motorsport NZ official and licence examiner. Bob has been the friendly face of Auckland Car Club in his many roles including Club Captain, Vice President and President for a term spanning 40 years. He will be remembered by all who knew him and missed sorely by those of us who are left to carry on in his footsteps. Many knew him for his role as President but to most of us that knew him well, he was a friend, a confidant and to us he was simply Bob. The Committee on behalf of the Auckland Car Club and its members offers our sincere condolences to Lyn and family for your loss.

Bob was the first person I met when I wandered into the Auckland Car Club meeting, having moved from the UK for work and not knowing anyone. He was kind, friendly and ever ready to offer support or advice. Big guy, big heart and one of a kind - Motorsport has lost a great guy. Would love to pay my respects in person but not able to travel there, but am sure plenty of fellow ACC members old and current will more than give him a good send off. Condolences to the family from Niloc.
