WHEELER, Robert James. It is with deep sadness that we announce the loss of Rob who passed away peacefully at Papakainga Homestead, Otorohanga on 1st July 2025, aged 85 years. Free at last from the clutches of dementia. Beloved husband and best friend of Judy, loved Dad of Joanne, Trish and Michael, Poppa of Nicole and Ella. We will be forever grateful to the staff at Papakainga for the exceptional care, respect and love shown to Rob, especially in his last few months. As per his wishes a private cremation has been held.
