You recently crossed my mind....I tried finding you and learned that you had passed. I'm sorry to learn of your passing 5 years later.

I know you will never receive this email and I am not sure if this email will ever go through, but....

Thank you for all the work you gave me around your house at 54 Malcolm St. I appreciate you, I appreciate our korero (talk) about your amazing knowledge of the Maori culture. And I wish you eternity in your new life in heaven.

E te Koroua, moe mai Ra (for now old fellow, rest in peace).
