Robert WELCH Obituary

WELCH, Robert Arthur Sandel. ONZM, PhD Died suddenly on Sunday July 12th 2020, aged 81. Beloved husband of Alexandra Barratt. Loved father of Sarah, Jim, Jennifer, and David. Stepfather to Kirsten, Matthew, and Adam. Grandfather to Cameron, Claudia, Felix, Thomas, Leo, Atom, and Aotahi. Great Grandfather to Nicholas, Amelia, and Daisy. In lieu of flowers, donations please to Parkinson's NZ. A funeral will be held at the Hamilton Cemetery Chapel, Saturday July 18th at 2.00pm.

What a wonderful man I had the pleasure of meeting through my lovely friends Jen & Guy. Loved our conversations and always enjoyed his visits to Wellington along with debating the rowing regattas in Cambridge each year. Bless you Mr Welch I am a better person for knowing you xx jac

I was very sorry to learn of Robert's passing so soon after my John's. I am also sorry that I will be unable to attend the funeral service as I will be out of town. My deepest sympathy to you all.
