Robert WATTAM Obituary

WATTAM, Robert Francis (Bob). Passed away on January 09, 2024. Aged 87. Family man and many other great things. Passed away peacefully at home. Loved by all, from Janet and Jonathan, James and Zoe Hodder. Robert and Lara, Robbie, Benjamin and Daniel Wattam. Thanks to staff at Harbour Hospice. Loving husband of Ann who he missed dearly since Sept 2023. Past Devonport Businessman, Yacht club Commodore, President and all around nice guy. Many friends from skiing to sailing will miss him. Service and celebration of Bob's life at Devonport Yacht Club, Saturday 20th January at 10am.

Great mates from Takapuna Grammar with particular interest in yachting. I later helped Bob when he built "Vision" and we spent many happy hours adventuring on this yacht. Best mate ever (Ann would say best husband ever). My own failing health means I have been unable to attend his funeral, but Bob would understand this. All our thoughts are with Robert and Janet and their families. Graeme and Rosalie Collett.
