VAN DER GIESSEN, Robert Eric. 15 October 1954 - 1 April 2021 Passed suddenly at home. Much loved soulmate of Darrall, loved "Poppa" of Rob, Georgina, Lilly and Jack, Paul, Miranda, Monique and Connie, Melanie, Matt, Cooper and Benson, Mattie, Ange and Winston, Chae, Danny and Jade and "Great Poppa" of August and Indigo. Much loved eldest son of Hank and Mein (deceased) and loved big brother of Annelies and Wayne, Uncle of Barry, Stephen and families. 'Will be missed by all' A Service for Robert will be held at The Hamilton Park Crematorium Chapel, Morrinsville Road, Newstead on Wednesday, 7th April at 2 pm.
