Dear Esda, so sorry to hear of Robs passing. Having worked with Rob at Coopers and Lybrand, he was truly of vibrant and dynamic character with a heart of gold. I did catch up.for coffees with him prior to the pandemic but then lost touch having being diagnosed with a serious but rare medical condition. I did ring Rob in 2022 at Xmas and he was at Waikanae and he said he would call me back but must have overlooked it. I had a great privilege to work with Rob and I will always cherish memories of his kindness , he always brought a present back from his overseas trips . I will miss him and sad that I became I'll and dudnt make contact again He adored you Esda and both his daughters so please pass my condolences on to the family and my heartfelt sympathy for your loss and he will be remembered forever. He loved my two boys when they came up to work to go home with me, so many memories for which we are lucky to be part off. My number is 0212642765 , I would love a call from you. Warm condolences to you all.

Hello Esda, So sorry to read today of Rob's passing earlier this year. As you may recall, we last met up in Waikanae for fish and chips back in 2019! I certainly enjoyed my professional association with Rob in Wellington at B B & S over 50 years ago and from time to time since then in both Canada and Wellington. He will be missed and I hope you are doing well. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

Worked for Rob at Barr Burgess & Stewart and Coopers and Lybrand. He had high standards and a huge work ethic but could always find the time to have a beer on Friday nights. Had a huge impact on me and I will always be grateful. A good man and will be missed by all.
