Robert TAYLOR Obituary

TAYLOR, Robert Jude. Formerly of Warkworth New Zealand, passed away on 9th May 2022 at his home in Sydney, Australia, aged 88. Beloved husband of Lorraine, father and father-in-law of Mandy and Noel, Chris and Brooke, Jon and LeAnne, Simon and Susan. Adored Grandad of Tim, Rebecca, Amy, Ashley, Ryan, Taylah, Jorja, Charles, Bridget, Jonathan, Lily and Ruby. Special Great Grandad to Ava, Samantha and Madelyn, Ianto, Harrison. He will be dearly missed.

Hi Loraine,
Sorry to hear of Rob's passing. He always had a smile and a great sense of humour, and was one of those guys that was pleasant to work with. I last saw Rob at Ellis Wyatt's Funeral----and he travelled all the way from Australia to be there! Thank you and your family for thinking of us in NZ at this sad time and putting the death notice in the Herald. Rob was Ellis's first apprentice and a foundation share holder in the Building firm of Ellis Wyatt Ltd. I still have one of Rob's hand saws--it is a touch stone for my memory bank. Denise and I are planning to move to a Retirement Village in Hamilton shortly .We will be nearer our daughter, who lives at Raglan, and is the only child living in NZ---the two boys live over seas
one in Australia and the eldest in France. Our thoughts are with you and you family. Regards, Bob and Denise Edwards. (09) 436--1308.
