We will both always remember the trips to New Zealand that were so full of joy and will always be etched in our hearts. We remember the hospitality and warmth uncle bob showered us with - from picking us up from the airport, showing us around his new property with such excitement, bringing us on the houseboat and "creating" fireworks just for us, smoking salmon, etc. Uncle Bob never failed to shower us with so much love and kindness. Not only was this evident when we visited, but it was also evident when we saw how much love he showered on his family. It was always amazing to see how much passion and zest he had for whatever career he went into - when he would take us and tell us about his property and the properties he was envisioning of building. Words can only say so much, but uncle Bob will be dearly missed. However, we trust that he is in a happier place right now and our heartfelt condolences go out to Godma/ Auntie Jen, Ben and Kim.

When we reflect on the twenty five years we have known Bob, we are filled with many wonderful memories of times in Singapore and trips to New Zealand. He was a most wonderful and gracious host, so generous with his time and talent. His energy seemed boundless; his passion unrivaled; his attention to detail almost frightening at times. Yet despite the sheer magnitude of work that seemed to follow him everywhere he went, he would always find time for his family and friends.

We will never forget long nights sitting at his table while he multi-tasked (paperwork, talking, and perhaps having a drink or three), golf games, crazy antics, his fiftieth birthday party, taking the chopper around, his hilarious and impertinent impersonations, his love for machines and speed, his never-ending stream of investment ideas, and of course his generosity.

Bob will be sorely missed but his legacy lives on through all whose lives he has touched.

Our deepest condolences to Jen, Ben, Kim, and the rest of Bob's family, friends, and colleagues. Rest easy knowing that Bob is now in a place of eternal rest.

First of all, my family's deepest condolences to Ben and Kim Robertson and their mother and our good friend Jen on Bob's passing. We shall always remember the fun times we shared with the Robertsons in Wanaka. We are grateful to Bob for being such a generous host on the two occasions that our family visited them in Wanaka in 2004 with the Frietses and again in 2010. The children had a wonderful time because of Bob. He will be missed. From the Chia Family, Hiang Kiat, Valerie, Elise, Benjamin and Gillian, Singapore

The Robertson's were and still are a very special family. We remember with fond memories visits and social occassions at their Haka Valley farm. You have been life long friends to our family dating back to before our parents were married and have supported us in our times of need. We will never forget Bob & Jen flying from Wanaka to Oamaru to see us when Dad passed away and drove back to Oamaru the next day for his funeral. True family friends. It is with a heavy heart that we morn Bob's passing and our thoughts are with his entire family at this very sad time.

Bob, the leader.

We have so many great memories with the Robertson's, Mulcahy's and Robert at Haka. Will always remember your cheeky smile and gentle nature. Steve and Bernie told me today that the other side of the world is finding out of your passing and are in shock as is the rest of us. You were a special person and a special cousin. Rest in peace and say Hi to B.T. for me.

Thank you Bob for your vision in creating a new town in North Canterbury. Little did I realise when driving past on SH1 when earthworks were being done that we would move from Christchurch to Pegasus Town in southern North Canterbury. What a grand choice we made to be able to look forward to retirement in this lovely place when we had no choice but to build a new home. Yes we built a new house in Pegasus that quickly became our Home. R.I.P. Bob. Thoughts are with your family.
