Only son of Boze (Bob) and Beatrice Jean Nola (both deceased) and brother of Loraine Nola (deceased). Loving uncle of Andrea, Jasyn and Davyn Nola. Private interment. My condolences to Jan.
I have fond memories of Robert and Jan from a visit to the philosophy department in 1984, when I was teaching for two terms.
Some of Robert's work on the young hegelians I only discovered later.

I remember Robert as an excellent teacher who gave me the tools to remain rational in a world of woo.
A brave man who in later years stood up for sanity and reason.
