Thoughts are with you after the passing of Bob, I only said to my husband the week before I read his death notice that Bob will be sitting in front of the TV watching the cricket (world cup) with a glass of wine, but not so.So in Bobs honour I made a bacon and egg pie with potato, just the way he taught me. Rest in Peace Bob, PS, I hope you managed to record your life stories.

In 1967 when Eddie (Bob's younger brother) lost his position in Invercargill because of ill health, Bob was very quick to offer him a position in his business in Putaruru. This act was much appreciated but it did change my life forever from being a Southlander to a North Islander. Bob you are remembered fondly.
