MASEFIELD, Robert James. (Jim). Passed away on Saturday, 10th September 2016, at the end of family happy hour, at the impressive age of almost 95 years. Loved husband of the late Daphne. Beloved father of Donna, Keith and Barry, father in law of Graeme, Pam and Sue. Treasured poppa of Anita, Jamie, Melissa, Tara, Blake, Jade, Alesha and James and great poppa of Jimi, Amy, Mahalia, Alexis, Nikau, Chloe and Layla. Dear friend of Maureen Ricketts. Our legend we will never forget. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jim's life at The Chapel of Faithfull Funeral Services, 35 Red Beach Road, Hibiscus Coast, on Thursday, the 15th of September 2016 at 2:00 pm followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the NZ Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the chapel. All communications to "The Masefield Family" P O Box 87, Whangaparaoa, Auckland 0943.

Sincerest condolences to all the family. We were very sad to hear that Jim had passed away.
Our families had some great times together growing up especially during the school holidays at Manly. Your father was a very knowledgable person and my father was always keen to share special times with Jim especially in his later years. Jim will be sadly missed by Darry, Pauline Laurie, Sandra and Sharon

MASEFIELD, Robert James (Mr Jim). Passed away peacefully with his precious family with him. Mr Jim was a special friend to me and my family. He touched our lives in many ways, always loving, caring and helpful. May he find a garden in the sky, Be happy he would say with a glass of red. To his family, thank you for sharing your dad with us. Our memories we will treasure. Mr Jim will be sadly missed by Maureen, sons, Graeme, the late Neil, Ian, Dennis and my grandchildren
