Robert MACKENZIE Obituary

MACKENZIE, Robert Bruce. NZP1938 (RTD). Peacefully at Annie Brydon Lifecare on Thursday 30th March 2023. Dearly loved husband of Audrey. Loved father and father in-law of Colin and Heather, Scott and Kim, and Lynne and Ian. Much loved grandfather of 7 and great grandfather of 4. A celebration of Bruce's life will be held at the Hawera RSA, Princes Street, Hawera on Wednesday 5th March 2pm, after which a private cremation will be held. A live stream of Bruce's service will be available on his tribute page at www.hardingsfunerals.co.nz

To Audrey and family deepest sympathy to all in your sad loss of Bruce .Remember all the good times while he was police constable in Manaia and we had the local bookshop.Would call in every Friday night to have a talk .I played many bowls for and against Bruce with mixed fortunes .After shifting to NP we lost contact but did call on him occasionally while he lived in Hawera and the rest home .Rest in peace Bruce you have earned it
