Robert MACGREGOR Obituary

MACGREGOR, Robert Neil (Neil). 7th November 1944 - 19th November 2011 Peacefully passed away after a strong courageous fight with cancer at home; surrounded by loving family and Whanau. Cherished Son of Alan (deceased) and Pat Macgregor, beloved husband and best friend of Betty (also late wife Sarah Berghan). Devoted father and father-in- law of Wendi and Hayden, Alan (deceased). Special Grand daddy to Arna and Shania. Much loved Brother and Brother-in-law of Heather (deceased) and David, Sally and Jeff, Hamish, Alistair and Lillian, Nancy and Bob and the Berghan Whanau. Dear lord please pick a flower for our Neil and place in his hands with love from us all. A great man too good for this world, he will be missed but never forgotten. A service will be held on Friday 25 November, 1:30pm, Hamilton Park Chapel, 395 Morrinsville Road, Newstead, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Waikato would be appreciated and may be left at the service or mailed P.O. Box 325, Hamilton. All communications to P.O. My boss, my mentor, the man who was like a father to me.I will miss you.
There is so much I wish to repay you for what you have done for me. Now that you are gone...I will honour you by doing what you asked of me,you were a man of Mana. I will look after Betty for you and look over your family. I will be there for them when ever they need anything. Macgregor, Robert Neil (Neil) - we can shed tears that you have gone or we can smile because you have lived. We can close our eyes and wish that you hadn't died or open our eyes and see all that you have left. We can remember you and only that you have gone or cherish your memory and let it live on.
Suffer no more Neil, safe in the arms of the Lord.
Your wit and humour will be sadly missed but always remembered. Our thoughts are with you Betty, forever in our hearts.
