Robert LYONS Obituary

LYONS, Robert Bruce Passed away unexpectedly at Whangamata on 20th January 2016, aged 47 years. Loving husband to Louise. Beloved Dad to Isaac, Abby and Ben. An amazing father full of life. A great Dad, always there when we needed him. Always a part of us. "His life is a beautiful memory never to be forgotten." A service to celebrate Rob's life will be held at St Mary on the Hill Anglican Church, Avon Road, Pokeno, on Thursday 28th January at 1.00pm followed by private cremation.

I am very sorry to hear of Rob's passing. It seems like yesterday that Rob, Tony and I were at St. Paul's walking down the path from Clarke House to the dining hall. Eating chips in front of Saturday night TV and listening to Jethro Tull. It has been many years since Rob and I caught up but I can still hear him giving me heaps in language you only hear at a boy college which makes me smile thinking back to it. I will miss you Rob.
