Sadly we have read this afternoon of Betty's passing; too late to join in the celebration of her life at the Cossie Club, To Barry, (also David and Linda whom I taught at Freyberg), I extend my sincere sympathy! Christine and I remember the many happy times and catch up' conversations we have had at the Club over many years!

Deepest sympathy to the extended family of Betty. Our thoughts go out to the family. Thinking of the family members I have met. Linda and Craig, and Barry. Betty was a lovely lady.

I have very special memories of Betty and Eric from my time at Palmerston North Teachers College. When they knew I was unhappy where I was boarding they invited me to move in with them. Time spent with them was really great. They really were true friends.
