Robert JOHNSTONE Obituary

JOHNSTONE, Robert Leslie (Bob). Passed peacefully after a courageous hard fought battle with cancer, at his home in Coromandel on Sunday 29th October, 2023. Dearly loved partner of Gaylene and much loved by her family, Kellie and Milton, Vanessa, Shaun and Baby Myles, Hamish, Sarah and family, Beric, Michelle, Ethan, Ashleigh, Addilyn, Connor, Beldon, and Deason. Sincere thanks to the staff of the Thames Chemotherapy Unit. 'A true hunter, fisherman and tomato grower extraodinaire, now at rest.' A Memorial Service for Bob will be held in The Citizens Hall, Kapanga Road, Coromandel, on Saturday 18th November, at 11am. All welcome.

My deepest sympathies to the family of Bob. He is remembered fondly from our many years in Papa Aroha when he and Mock would pop in for a visit. Always a smile and many laughs. He was one of the best. Thoughts are with you all.
