Sad to read Robert has passed away. I knew Robert at Mangawhai Primary School. He was well liked. Thoughts are with his Family. Remembered Glenice Denize x

Rob, a gentle, patient and kind friend of many years who always saw the best in people.
Rob was very knowledgeable of the nz bush, native timbers, birds and the history of the local area. We had some interesting conversations.
A man of many talents, and a great friend, to many he will be sorely missed but will always be remembered

Dear Deb and children, I'm so sorry for your loss of such an amazing husband and father and grandfather. He always wore a smile and was a huge part of Mangawhai and it's history. He will be sadly missed. RIP dear Rob.

I was lucky to have not one but two father figures in my life I called you my other father my farm dad. I have so many great memories you will always be in my heart because in there your still alive. I love you Rob ( other father) I will always love you

Knew Robert and the family way back in the late 70's when my son and I were welcomed into their house, during a trip from the U.K..
