HARKNESS, Robert. Died peacefully on 28 April 2016 at Caughey Preston Hospital, aged 92 years. Much loved husband of the late Barbara. Father, Grandfather and Great grandfather - loved by all his family. A private cremation has been held. State of Grace East 09-527-0366

My condolences to the Harkness Family. Bob was an excellent mentor and friend during the years I was understudying his role at Turners & Growers Ltd. We shared many challenges and lots of laughs, and I often appreciated his sensitivity and concern for others with problems or needs. His professionalism and high standards were then, and remain, an example to all.
