Wow! I've only just come across this sad news today. We were junior golfers at Huapai Golf Club. I was his partner at his 21st. l last saw him in late 1990s when I was in NZ for a short time. RIP old friend.

I first met Bob at the Remuera golf coarse when I was a junior member in 1966 .Bob represented Auckland golf for many years ,and was Club Champion at Remuera on many occasions. We played many rounds together and I allways admired his competitive spirit .Thanks Bob for many happy hours in your company on and off the golf coarse . Barry Hall
