Robert GALLAGHER Obituary

GALLAGHER, Robert. 8 July 1949 - 22 January 2025, after a long illness faced with the courage and dignity he lived his life. Much loved partner of Carol Beaumont, brother of Richard, brother-in- law of Alison and Steve, uncle of Megan, Dylan, Keriana and Emma and great uncle of Myla. Friend and respected mentor of many. A life of activism and advocacy to make the world a better place. A celebration of Robert's life will take place at the Mt Albert War Memorial Hall, 773 New North Road on Wednesday 29th January at 11.30am followed by refreshments and a private cremation. An opportunity will be provided to pay respects and share stories before the celebration - please email for details.
