FREEMAN, Robert (Bob). On Sunday 26 December 2010, peacefully at Golden Pond Rest Home and Hospital; aged 82. Dearly loved husband of the late Beverley. Cherished father of Gregory, Raymond, Andrew and Grant. Much loved father-in-law and granddad of Cherie, Rosalie, Kerrie, Klaus, James, Michael, Matthew, Hayley, Hannah, Charlotte and Samuel. Special friend of June. Brother-in-law to Colin and Beverley. Safe in the arms of Jesus and forever in our hearts. Our grateful thanks to the caring staff at Golden Pond and the Whakatane Hospice. A funeral service for Bob will be held in the Baptist Church, corner of Alexander Avenue and King Street, Whakatane on Thursday 30th December at 11am followed by a private interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Whakatane Baptist Church building fund would be appreciated and may be left at the service or posted to the church at 76 Alexander Avenue, Whakatane.
