Robert Ewing Obituary
EWING, Robert Thomas (Bob). Born 3 February 1922, died 19 October 2011. Much loved and much cherished husband of Shirley, much loved and much cherished Dad of Caroline and Graham Walton, Jennifer and David Morton. Treasured Pata of Blake and Jessica. "His life was filled with love, laughter and music." A service for Bob will be held in the Purewa Crematorium All Saints Chapel, 100 St Johns Road, Meadowbank, Auckland tomorrow Friday 21 October 2011 at 1.30pm to be followed by interment in the Cemetery. We are so sad and will always remember the happiness Bobby brought to this world through his bass, by being a true gentleman and a good friend to my father for the last 60 plus years.

Having all the wonderful memories of times gone by will hopefully ease the pain at this very sad time.
We will miss Bob and his cheerful letters and all the good times we had together at the Sheraton Hotel.
