Robert BIRD Obituary

BIRD, Robert Christopher (Rob). Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 19th July 2017, surrounded by his loving family, aged 62 years. Dearly loved father and father in law of Daniel and Hana. Loved stepdad of Sarah, and Amanda. Cherished eldest son of Ron and the late Hazel. Treasured pa of Natalia. Loved brother and brother in law of Lynda and Marc, Peter and Lorraine. Loved uncle of Jarrod, Harry, Loui, Sam, Elle, and Gabriella. A celebration of Rob?'s life will be held in the Eastern Suburbs Chapel of Morrisons Funeral Home, 79 Line Road, Glen Innes on Tuesday 25th July at 11.00 am followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to Mercy Hospice would be gratefully appreciated and can be left at the service. Communications for the Bird family can be sent c/o PO Box 25731, St Heliers 1740.

I had the pleasure of meeting Rob just over a year ago. He was the most positive, cheerful man with a zest for life, he would make you a friend within the first 5 minutes of meeting you. He faced his illness with positivity and strength, a true example of his nature. He will be sadly missed by all those he came into contact with. Rest peacefully now Rob x
