Rita SNELGAR Obituary

SNELGAR, Sister Rita RNDM (Josephine Margarita). On July 12, 2021 peacefully at Eileen Mary Rest Home, Dannevirke. Aged 90 years. Dearly loved member of The Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions. Loved daughter of the late John and Veronica Snelgar. Loved sister of the late Sister Patricia RSM, the late Ronald and Hazel (Auckland), Jacqueline (Auckland) and Peter and Anita (Australia). May She Rest in Peace. A special thank you to the staff of Eileen Mary for their wonderful care of Sister Rita and thanks also to the people of St Joseph's Parish, Dannevirke for their care of Sister Rita, over many years. Vigil prayers and sharing will be held in St Joseph's Church, Allardice Street, Dannevirke on Thursday July 15, 2021 at 4.00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Sister's Mission Appeal would be greatly appreciated and these may be left at the funeral mass. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Sister Rita in St Joseph's Catholic Church, Allardice Street, Dannevirke on Friday July 16, 2021 at 11.00am.
