Rita MCGRATH Obituary

MCGRATH, Rita (Nana Mac) (nee Puaki Ovaia Tairi). Passed peacefully 18 November 2024; surrounded by family, age 94. Dearly loved wife of the late Desmond McGrath. Much loved mother of Alan, Sheila, Des, Francis (Choc), Richard (Ricki), Rita (Dolly), Leslie, Malcolm, and Charlie. Mother-in-law to Tony, Tona, Yanxi, Kaori, Donna, Maraina, Rachelle, Jane, Anna, Lorraine, Joanne, Megan, Lori, Susie, Karen, and the late Hera and Josephine. Sister to Katapu, Tangata, and the late Veea, Mata, Ngatamaine, and Yvonne. Treasured nana Mac of many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Always in our hearts, always loved, always remembered. The funeral service for Rita will be held on Thursday 21 November at 10am in the Main Chapel of Morrisons Funeral Home, 220 Universal Drive Henderson.
