Richard TYLER Obituary

What a beautiful funeral service, I watched online from Brisbane. Dr Richard and Dr Julia Tyler I recall well as I grew up in Johnsonville and attended the medical centre. Dr Richard Tyler delivered my third child in March 1998, a raining Wellington night. I have always remembered what he said when she was born, as she was crying at birth. I asked is she ok ?Dr Tyler said, " She was born very fast she has a headache that´s why she´s crying"

It is sad to hear of Dr Richard´s untimely dead. Julia you were my Dr at johnsonville medical and 17 years ago you helped me through my grief when my partner police officer Derek Wootton was killed on duty. You were my rock then and I never forgot you when I moved to Auckland. If you were not free I saw Dr Richard. Think of you often and the great people you were. Condolences to you and your family. Dear Julia and family I am so sorry for your loss Richard will be remembered for being a decent human being who loved his family deeply. He had such integrity and empathy when it mattered and I will forever be grateful for everything he has done for us over the years. I will miss our weekly catch-ups and updates on his latest adventures. You´re in my daily rosaries just in case. RIP
