Richard STOREY Obituary

STOREY, Richard Stevenson (Dick). Passed away, surrounded by family, at home, at the age of 76. Darling husband of Jacqueline for 52 years. Much loved father and father- in-law of Shane and Angela, Ian and Pamela, and Belinda. Adored Poppa to his six granddaughters, Kayla, Ashleigh, Rachel, Brenna, Leah, and Arielle. A celebration of his life will be will be held at the St Andrews Presbyterian Church, Scott Road, Te Kauwhata on Thursday, 10th September at 1:00 PM, followed by a private cremation. Donations in lieu of flowers are welcomed for the Taniwha - Waerenga Memorial Church and can be left at the service or can be posted to c/- 26 Swan Rd Te Kauwhata 3781. You'll never be forgotten for the kindness and generosity you shared with your family and friends. So many happy memories and forever in our hearts. Bye Dad, Love You.

So enjoyed talking with Dick often in recent times since we moved to Te Kauwhata. We shared many recalls of our hunting and happy pony club days with our young daughters developing their riding skills.
I will remember him particularly for his infectious smile.
Condolences to the family.
Sorry we are unable to attend todays celebration of his life.
