Remembering a year ago today a funny guy and an awesome father once again shock us all. Your humour is missed and so are you.

Was very shocked to hear of Richards passing. We shared some great times from our Westlake days, teenage years and into our 20s. Always a loyal and trustworthy friend, rest in peace Rich. My heart goes out to your family.

My thoughts are with all the Sheehan family and Richards partner and son. So shocked to hear of his passing. I will always remember our fun times at the soccer as kids and bumping into you at Countdown, you always had a smile on your face and always stop to chat. RIP Richard.

Rich my friend, you were the lighthouse when my storm came in, and we did nothing but have serious fun & sort out some serious disputes with a high degree of success & humour. I witnessed a beautiful thing when you found love with the beautiful Pip. I watched you be an awesome dad at all times with awesome Adam. You taught me much. So shocked by the news of RIchards passing. I hope u get to meet Brendon now Rich as I'm sure you will up there having a big ole laugh in the sky. Will miss our chats n your cheeky grin. Love goes out to those u have left behind.

My gosh..Such a shock to hear of richards passing..As a young fellow he was often at my dad max datsons house hanging out with young jono and friends..Deeply sad to hear this news..He was always a lovely boy when i knew him as a little nipper growing up..RIP Sunshine..The Datson Family will always remember you with fondness Rich ..Heaven must be short on angels so they took you..Bless..xxCondolences to all your family and friends..Love you Richie :)

Deeply shocked and so sad to hear of Richards sudden departure. The best neighbour my Father ever had, and will miss our chats over the fence chatting about our old school days.
