SHAW, Richard (Rick). RNZAF. New Zealand Police On Friday 21 July 2023, aged 76 years, peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by family in Tauranga. Much loved husband of the late Kathy. Cherished father of Pamela and Jennifer, and father-in-law of Tom. Treasured Grandad of Hannah, Gabrielle, Ronan, and Nina. Dearly loved partner and best friend of Helen, and just "Rick" to Trish, Phil, Gill, Liz, Paul, Aidan, Niamh, Harry, Sparrow, Hamish, and Grace. A great sharer of stories and opinions, well-read and intelligent; what he didn't know he'd find out and then loved to debate. A man for whom feeding his family was his way of sharing love.
