Richard was my one and only uncle and a part of my life since 1963. His life was full and eventful not only personally but in his working life as well. We shared many holidays together in Australia, in NZ (one of the best being in Whangamata ) and in Europe. I will always remember his unique way of greeting me, The big L or Lindy Lu, and mine to him was the big Rick. Rest in peace Richard, I am so sorry I can't be there to say a final farewell. Heart felt condolences to Marion, Rob and family members. Have very fond memories of Richard's visits. A larger than life character who will be sorely missed.
