PLINSTON, Richard. On October 20th 2024 at North Shore Hospital, aged 76 years. Dearly loved husband of Cindy. Loved father and father-in-law of Kirsty and Mike, Andrew and Caley. treasured granddad of Cole, Cam, Abigail, and Harrison. Loved brother and brother-in- law of Carol and Ian. Loved uncle to Piers and Thor. A service to celebrate Richard's life will be held at the East Coast Bays Chapel of Forrest Funeral Services, 8 Glen Road, Browns Bay on Wednesday 30 October at 1:30pm. To be followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and can be made online via link below. https://donate.stjohn.org.nz

I have just been made aware of Richard's passing. I worked with Richard from the 70's up until retirement in 2016. He was an amazing IT specialist always ahead of the curve. Richard had wide interests and I remember fondly many passionate debates. I send sincere condolences to Cindy and family for their loss.
