Richard MATTHEWS Obituary

MATTHEWS, Richard Davis (Dick). Passed away at home on Wednesday 18th July 2018, aged 74 years. Dearly loved husband of Edna. Much loved father and father-in-law of Karl and Leith, and Michelle and Vaughan. Dearest Poppa of Elyn, Lewis and Monica, Kayla and Luke. A service for Dick will be held in the Chapel of Geards Funeral Home on Monday 23rd July 2018 at 11am. All communications C/- Geards, 13 Pukepoto Road, Kaitaia, 09 4080970. Will be sadly missed, now at peace after his long journey.

so sorry to hear of Dick's death. He and my husband Dave surveyed the road for the Maungamuka Gorge, many years ago. He was a good friend and colleague.
