Hi to all Dicks family have known all the Johnson family
For many years ,played softball/golf and played golf with Arlene for a few years ,thinking of you all

He mihi aroha ki a koutou te whanau pani o Uncle Dick. Kua hinga he totara i te wao nui a Tane. Ka tangihia e tatou i tenei wa, no reira haere, haere, haere atu ra, haere i runga i te aroha me te rangimarie.
We remember Uncle Dick with much respect and memories of his manaakitanga, whanaungatanga and aroha for our whanau throughout the years. He was a humble man who just got on with mahi behind the scenes not asking for any acknowledgement. Uncle Dick built the whare our whanau still live in, he provided work for our father Bill Adams and our brother Mike in times of need. We will miss his presence at gatherings and hui. Na reira, tena koutou, tena koutou, tena tatou katoa.

My Condolences to the Johnson family. Bought a tear to my eye when i heard Dick had passed .A great man well liked and well respected. A ledgion in the Building Industry. Johnson Bros ltd. (The Boss) Rest in peace Dick. Jeff owens. Hamilton.

Frank Snowden sends his re-guards and is sadden by Dicks passing. He is unable to come to Dicks furneral but is thinking of Dick and his family.

A ship sails and disappears beyond the horizon. It's comforting to know that while we are sad saying goodbye there are others who are filled with joy to see that ship coming into view and can say hello again. I can only image the massive welcoming party that will greet Dick on his arrival. To someone I've known and respected my whole life, safe passage Mr. J. Thank you for being you and please say hi to my family when you get there. XXX
