I was deeply saddened to hear of Richards passing. He was a school mate from 5-12 years old at Tauriko School. I lost touch but often wondered where he ended up. I will always remember Richard as serious, insanely smart and just a really nice kid.
My thoughts go out to his family at this very sad time.

I am saddened to hear of the passing away of Richard who always worked to the highest ethical and professional standards - part of a rare breed. Although we worked on opposite sides of the desk we became friends during our time in Vietnam.

My sincere condolences to his family, friends and his colleagues at Black and Veatch.

Richard was a key member of our project team. When all of the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning was long finished and folks started forgetting about the challenging effort, Richard continued and helped us finish the necessary commercial aspects that many never see. I will always remember his toughness, yet positive outlook despite the challenges.

I very much appreciated Richards work and professionalism when we worked together in Asia. He will be missed.
