I knew Richard for over 35 years as a friend, client and mentor. Richard was always willing to have a sit down chat, he was interested in how my day was going and a great source of inspiration and good advice. I considered him a great friend and I will miss him. Farewell my Friend.

Richard was the catalyst for a big change in my employment life. He was the original founder and owner of AIR Resouce Management Ltd. I was looking for a change of direction, Richard emplyed me and taught me, then allowed me to buy the business from him. You will always be a large part of my memory and life Travel Well my friend

Richard gave me my first employment opportunity after university, at a time when it was difficult to find that first job. He employed countless other students as well, setting us up for success in our respective careers. He was a kind and generous man who continued to offer me guidance long after he retired. I will always remember the positive impact he had on my life.

Remembering a man with quiet dignity who gave so much of himself in helping others - especially during his early days of Boy Scouts. Always a member of our extended family in St Heliers Bay. Rest in Peace Richard. (From the Armitage Family)
