Richard DODDS Obituary

DODDS, Richard Hammond. Passed away peacefully on 19 July 2017 surrounded by his family, aged 69. Adored husband of Lynne. Beloved father to Libby, Jen and Nick; father-in-law to Michelle and Nigel; stepfather to Kim and Annabelle. Treasured Granddad of Mason, Mila and Lucie; brother of Lindy, David, Jackie and Alan. A good man and a true gentleman. A service for Richard will be held at the All Saints Chapel, Purewa Crematorium, 100 St John's Rd, Meadowbank on Monday 24 July at 10am. In lieu of flowers a donation to Mercy Hospice, PO Box 47693, Ponsonby, Auckland would be appreciated.

Lynne and family, my heart is deeply saddened. The years and hours I spent with Richard pacing fairways lamenting about our poor play, but always with a smile and a laugh ... as a gentleman, kind soul. and always so understanding, I will miss him dearly but never ever forgotten.

I feel so privileged to have known you Richard. God bless you, and those whose hearts you have touched so deeply.

John and I are so saddened to hear this news of Richards passing. He certainly was a true gentleman and a dear neighbour. We send our heartfelt sympathies to Lynne and family. With all our love Linda and John Williams, Kerikeri.
