Richard DEAN Obituary

Richard was a wonderful friend to me, especially when Sean was studying his MBA. Along with Toni our daughter and Chloe we had a lot of adventures. Richard was a lovely, funny, honest and a very thoughtful companion. It was a joy to witness Richard´s obvious love for his daughter Chloe. We were lucky to have had Richard in our lives.

A true gentleman and a real character. Many, many laughs sharing a 6 pack of DB Double Brown propped up against my dads garage. Listening to the Goons on a long road trip in your red Alfa.
Inspired by your music. Your resilience and strength in the face of challenges. Its an honour to have known and be touched by you. You leave a legacy I will always treasure.

We met when we were only 16. You enchanted us with your guitar skills and you made us laugh so much with your impressions of the Goons, Pete and Dud. We possibly drank too many beers occasionally and I have at least two vague memories of rolling around in the snow at Ruapehu, laughing so hard.
You were always a straight shooter mate - not ever did I hear a bad word said about anyone or anything.
RIP Richard. We´ll all miss you.
