For me Dick as I remember him will always be remembered as a great mate on and off the field. Well respected as an opponent and team mate. His contribution and toughness to Otago Rugby was outstanding. My sincere condolences to the Conway family.

Red (Richard) used to be my boss during my apprentiship
we got up to all sorts of mischief , he would make me march to the jobs carrying all the gear (I was a willing participant) and walk beside me say left left left right left much to the amusement of the other tradies ...including management who stopped us one day and asked what was going on ...to which Red replied im whipping this generation into shape ...Peter lett was still laughing as we marched off around the corner .
he certainly was full of beans and made life fun
all my best to the family and condolences for one of life's cool dudes ...
regards
