I was fortunate to share a hospital room with Richard during some ill health of my own back in 2019. Fascinating gentlemen with amazing stories of the many aspects of his past with some right back to his schooling given I was a staff member at HBHS at the time. Common friend in Charles Thomas his transplant comrade! Rest easy Richard - Condolences to you all! A fantastic story teller and true gentlemen!

Dear Bev and Family... greatly saddened to hear of Richard's death. A most lovely man who I and my family totally loved being in the company of AND he was the most marvellous of actors when we did our shows for Theatrevue. Great with words and a spark in his eye that reflected cheeky humour. In our hearst he always will be... Marc and Lynne Shaw and 'Paul Shaw'

When thinking of Richard I think of a friend ,a family man ,an actor ,old car enthusiast ,a person who fought all the way with his health and Julia remembers him buying her and Lee a Mc Donald's in London which was a real treat for them
Thank you Richard for all the happy memories
