Still can't believe you are gone Dad. Will miss you so much. Thank you for all that you taught me and encouraged me to do. There were so many things. From stomping grapes and bottling beer, drawing and painting, hammering and nailing and playing pool in the shed at Domain Street to fishing out the batch and learning all about it's surrounding ocean, flora, and fauna as a kid. Taste tester to all my baking drop offs and Wayne's latest catch. Passion for our special block of land I hoped you'd see one last time. The family history now forever in print (yes we will finish your last book). Thank you for all that you shared with Wayne and Damon which they treasure so much, and thank you for the welcoming cheeky smile and time you always gave my friends and extended family over the years. Richard Ernest Brownlee 03-10-33 to 03-09-16 Known to many as Dick Passed away suddenly. Loving son of the late Robert Ernest and Miriam Ngahuia Brownlee. Loving brother of the late Hone, Myrtle, Jessie, Myra, Elsie and loving brother to Isobel and brother inlaw to their partners. Loving father of the late Mark , Robert and loving father to Lesley, Grant, Victor, Jeffery, David and Marcelle. Much loved by his many Nieces and Nephews Grand children and Great grand children.
He was one in a million a true legend they differently broke the mould when he was born. He will truely be missed. There will be many a story and many tall stories told over the next few months. There will be much laughter too as well as a few glasses raised. We will all gather up our stories ready for the get together later in October. Bye for now your pain is over you can walk free.
