Richard BROADBENT Obituary
Broadbent, Richard George (Dick The Broad). Crossed the finish line 11:03pm on Monday 22 September 2025. Son of the late George and Grace, brother of the late Win and Pat. Loved husband and longtime friend of Mary. Adoring dad of Matthew, Penny and Amy, and their partners. Grandfather of Sebastian, Lauren, Isla, Chelsea, Olivia and the late Tristan and Ollie. The Great Encourager is to be farewelled at a service at the Grange Manor Chapel 400 Dominion Road, Mount Eden on Wednesday 1 October at 12pm. A special thank you to Elizabeth Knox Home and Hospital especially the Team Nikau 2 Family. In lieu of flowers donations to the Neurological Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
