ANSTIS, Richard Samuel (Dick). QSM. Dick passed away peacefully on the 23rd July 2022 in his 100th year. Dearly loved and devoted husband of the late Norma. Cherished companion of the late Ceciley. Much loved father and father-in law of Bev and Alan Butchart, Peter and Marnie, Denise and Ross Moody, Sue Lee and Ken (dec), John (dec) and Rhondda, Alison and Alan MacDonald, Dave and Beth, Paul and Carolyn. Treasured Grandpa of David, Nicola, Michael, Stephen, Christopher, Mark, Nat, Tania, Sarah, Richard, Robert, Angela, Lana, Emily, Helen, Fletcher, and Mikala. Adored Old Grandpa of his 29 great grandchildren at last count. Quite Some Man, forever missed. In lieu of flower's donations to alzheimers.org,nz would be appreciated, and may be left at the service. The service will be livestreamed and can be viewed at willettsfuneralservices.co.nz. A celebration of Dick's life will be held in Hiona St Stephens Anglican Church, Church Street, Opotiki, on Wednesday, 27th of July at 11am, thereafter to the Opotiki Cemetery Waioeka Road Opotiki.
