Rex SYME Obituary

SYME, Rex St Clair. Aged 93. Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on the 25th November 2025. A loved husband to the late Maureen Syme (nee Michie) Loved Father and Father in Law to Theresa, Cathy, Helen and George, Karl and Jo. Loved Rex to Regan, Jarrod and Catherine, Hayden, Trent and Connie, Justin, Seth, Sarah, Toni and Morgan, Sam and Nathalie, Jordan, Shaylee, Devan and Mollie. Loved Great Grandfather to 11. Cherished Memories. A private family service will be held on Saturday 29th November 2025 at 11am. For those who wish to join the service via livestream, a viewing link will be available through www.grahamsfunerals.co.nz.

Sympathy and love to the Syme family, Rex had been a Bowker Road neighbour to the Watson´s from 1977 to 2020. Always ready for a chat when moving his stock across the road, one of the last of his generation in Patumahoe. R.I.P. Rex from Helen Bell (Matamata) and family.
